Centenary 100 Challenge

As part of their Queen's Guide Award, three members of South Wallington Rangers have created the Greater London West 100 Challenges for our Centenary year. The challenge book has 200 challenges and is open to all sections. The aim is to complete 100 of the challenges to earn your badge, which is the centre of our GLW Centenary badges.
You can download a copy of the booklet here: GLW Centenary Challenge ...have fun!

Carol Singing

Over 1000 members from all sections in GLW sang carols outside their local railway stations all around our County and collected money from homecoming commuters. The money raised was split between the Girlguiding centenary fund and many charities including the Make a Wish children’s charity, Shooting Stars Hospice, Christian Aid, Railway Children’s Charity...

International

These include several trips/tours for Leaders of all ages!

Big Gig

Lots of girls and leaders from Greater London West went to Wembley in October and enjoyed a loud concert! Here are just some of them. Were you there?

Centenary Launch Party

Greater London West celebrated in style at an exciting day at Heyswood on 5th September. Lots to do, including a huge street party in a field, disco and fireworks. See the fun!

More Centenary Fun

The Launch Party was just the beginning. We are looking forward to more exciting events over the coming year. Check the Centenary Calendar for dates and information on our events. We hope you are planning to come with your units. We are also looking for volunteers to share in the organisation of many of these events. Can you offer your services? Do you have a talent? Please let us know!
